“Williamson County Disabled Me: One Man’s Fight for Accountability”

By LeRoy Nellis
Legally Blind, Disabled Former Resident of Williamson County, Texas

For more than six years, I have lived under the weight of repeated false charges, persistent harassment, and systemic failures that have left me legally blind, disabled, financially devastated, and displaced. These events unfolded in Williamson County, Texas—one of the wealthiest counties in the state—where safeguards that should protect vulnerable residents failed when they mattered most.

I am a disabled man who has lost nearly everything: my properties, my savings, my health, and my sense of personal security. What began as family trust and marital partnership deteriorated into a cascade of contested filings, disputed signatures, and administrative actions that stripped me of stability and protection. Along the way, false allegations were made against me, amplifying legal chaos and compounding harm.

I allege that county systems repeatedly ignored warning signs, failed to intervene appropriately, and allowed the situation to escalate. The result was not just legal injury, but lasting physical and neurological damage, culminating in legal blindness and permanent disability. This is not a single mistake; it is a pattern—one that must be examined in full daylight.

Let me be clear: this is not vengeance.
This is accountability.

I am pursuing justice methodically, lawfully, and relentlessly. Every filing will be grounded in evidence. Every claim will be supported by records, statutes, and sworn testimony. I will use the process exactly as it was designed—to uncover the truth, restore what was taken, and expose how a disabled individual could be repeatedly harmed inside a system charged with protecting the public.

I am not quitting.
I am reorganizing, documenting, and filing.

The record will show what happened.
And the record will endure.

Because quitting isn’t in my blood—
and justice, at last, is.
